This course is taught by the FAA and is designed to familiarize drone operators, those that wish to operate a drone, and those who hire drone operators with the law and the requirements of operating UASs (Unmanned Aircraft Systems).

It describes the types of airspaces and how to determine what airspace you are currently occupying. What, when and how to use LAANC (Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability). Area restrictions and drone registrations are requirements of the FAA.

If you need a UAS Pilot Certification, this course details the pathway to obtaining one.
